Farah Khan to come up with remake of Satte pe satta
Remakes are now a days in trend in bollywood. If we talk about movies or songs it always something like a tadka In dal. Most times, it is a letdown because of how much we adore the old generation versions we grew up on. We have a lot of expectations from the newer version as well. Director cum choreographer Farah Khan was also of a similar opinion and said that she used to previously look down upon remakes.
As per the reports few months ago, there was a rumor that Farahis all set to team up with director Rohit Shetty . Both of them will come upwith the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan-Hema Malini starrer, Satte Pe Satta. Farah, who was part of a panel organized by Royal Stag Barrel Select Large Short Filmsin Delhi/NCR, says that motherhood is what brought about this change in her attitude.
She explained, saying:
At one point in time, I used to look down upon remakes and ask ‘why is he doing this?’ But now I think it is worldwide (remakes are made worldwide). I realized that after having children… My kids haven’t watched the movies that I loved in my childhood or when I was growing up. They are not going to watch them now because the movies are dated, so why not give a fresh spin if the story is interesting or something… You can modernize it and make it for today’s audiences.
The Satte Pe Satta remake has been in the news for speculations about its star cast. Addressing all rumours surrounding it, Farah reportedly told .
They (people) have made their own story, decided whom we are making the film with, and also who has left the movie. Till we announce what we are making, what’s the title, who all are in the movie, everything else is just rumour and speculation which we don’t even want to refute because there is no point.
Thus now we are super excited for the upcoming remake of Farah Khan Satte pe satta!
