Taapsee Pannu

Taapsee Pannu movie Badla movie has released on 8thof March 2019. Movie is a mystery and thriller film. Sujoy Ghos is the director of the movie. Stars were Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Amrita Singh. TonyLuke, Manav Kaul and Tanveer Ghani appear in supporting roles.

This is not the first time, but several times bollywood industry actresses have complaint about their non importance in front of actors. Taapsee Pannu  is one of them.

But in one of the show hosted by Neha Dhupia Taapsee Pannu  shared her concern about male-dominated industry. Actress told

“Even when I do films like ‘Badla’, I had more working days or scenes than Mr. Bachchan. He was the hero of the film, I was the antagonist. But the antagonist has more presence in the film than the protagonist. But eventually the film releases, they call it an Amitabh Bachchan film. And  when I raise my voice and said I’ve done almost equal if not more, that’s when people recognized and started taking my name because it’s such a male-dominated industry. They don’t even realize that I might have done more work actually. It was called Sir’s film, it won’t be called a female film regardless of the fact that I have more scenes, it will be called an Amitabh Bachchan film and the credit will go there.

Earlier also Taapsee Pannu  has raised her voice for the male dominating society of bollywood industry.

On the work front Taapsee Pannu is all set to star in the biopic of athlete Rashmi from Gujarat in her next film, titled Rashmi Rocket. The movie is an inspiring story of  a girl from a village who aspires to become a successful athlete against all odds.
