Simple cooking tips for Supermom: Chicken Masala Bonda

Hello Supermom!!! How was your kid says about your new cook recipe? Today we are going to prepare the traditional dish with some extra crunch in it. Chicken Masala Bonda is what we gonna prepare in our kitchen. This is Monday, so you people will have some chicken in your freezer. Well, we need that. 


I will now tell what all ingredients we need to make our recipe. trust me, it’s just so tasty. Your kid gonna lick his fingers. 

  • Chicken: 1 cup
  • Potatoes: 1 cup
  • Onion: 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste: 3 tablespoon
  • Green chilly: 3 nos
  • Coriander leaves: 1/2 cup
  • Gram flour: 1 cup
  • Rice flour: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Oil: 1 cup

So let us get started with our dish. As the first step, boil chicken and potatoes. After that, scramble the chicken and mash the potatoes.

And now let us make the batter. Take a bowl, add gram flour and rice flour to it. Add salt and a little bit of chilly powder. Add water to get a thick batter. 

Now,  it is time for us to make the masala for our Bonda. Take a pan, heat it and add one tablespoon of oil in it. You can use any kind of oil. Add scrambled chicken and saute. Fry till it gets a light brown color. Remove the chicken and add a spoon of oil again. Now add onion, green chili and ginger garlic paste to it. Saute till it gets its raw flavor. Add turmeric powder salt to it. And now we have to add the mashed potatoes to it. Stir till it got a nice mix. And just before putting off the flame, add the fried chicken to it. Also, add chopped coriander to the mix.  

Now let the masala get cool for sometime. Mix the masala mix with our hands and make small balls from it. Heat the pan and pour oil for deep fry. Dip the masala balls in batter and put in hot oil. Remove from oil if it seems a golden brown color. 

Enjoy serving it with some tomato ketchup.
